Isaac Whitecotton, an aged citizen of Advance, died at half past 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home there, following an illness due to the infirmities of old age. Mr. Whitecotton was a native of Boone County where he was born Jan 1, 1831. The funeral will occur at the residence at 10 o'clock, Friday morning. Mr. Whitecotton is survived by a widow, three sons, five daughters and two brothers. The sons are: John of Advance and Charles and Turley of Terre Haute. The daughters are Mrs. Robert Fulwider of Advance; Mrs. John Wheeler of Crawfordsville; Mrs. William Wall of New Ross and Misses Wilda and Lulu who live at home in Advance. James Whitecotton of Advance and William Whitecotton of the city are the brothers. -- transcribed by kbz
